BREAKING (Updated – WE WILL UPDATE AS NEWS COMES IN): According to multiple sources, a new video released by ISIS shows British citizen Alan Henning’s death by “beheading”. Henning was a 47 year old British citizen who was featured as the next person ISIS threatened to kill on their last video, which reportedly showed the beheading of British citizen David Haines. According to a report by The Guardian: “Islamic State militants have published a video that is said to depict the murder of a British aid convoy volunteer Alan Henning three weeks after warning that he would be the next to die.
If the video is found to be authentic, Henning will be the fourth western hostage to have been killed by the group, following the video-taped beheadings of US journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, and Scottish aid worker David Haines.”
The questions about the timing of the death loom, as ISIS’ PR Arm, posted this statement almost 3 weeks ago (source link HERE):
Just two weeks ago, The Guardian reported that MI6 and other intelligence agencies had no idea where Alan Henning was being held. The article says: “(MI6 Representative) Hammond, speaking in Paris, said: “We don’t know where he is. Obviously, if we knew where he was, we would be able to look at all sorts of options but we don’t know where he is.
“We have considered every possible option to support these kidnap victims – both British and others – and if we knew where they were, it would be a different story.”
Hammond said officials had explained to Henning’s family the limited options open to the UK government, whose policy is not to pay ransoms: “They understand, because we have explained to them in detail, the limitations of our abilities. We are dealing with a very barbaric organisation whose values are completely different from ours.”

Analysts said the admission by Hammond may also mean that intelligence services do not know the location of the masked man with a British accent who has fronted the videos showing the beheading of two American journalists and of British aid worker David Haines, which was released on Saturday.”
Alan Henning Only The Beginning?
This all comes on the heels of a string of threats from ISIS. The UK’s policy of not paying ransom has angered many, while other EU countries are reported to have paid ransoms for their hostages.
Alan Henning’s teenage daughter, Bethany, from Perth, posted on her Facebook last week: “Hi, I’m David’s daughter who lives in Perth I was really touched by the messages of support during this hard time I know my dad would be really touched and grateful.”
