NASA Unveils ‘Desperate Plan’ To Save Humanity From Yellowstone Supervolcano

NASA promises to save humanity from dangerous yellowstone supevolcano

A former NASA chief has revealed that the space agency are actively making “desperate” plans to save humanity from Armageddon, as the Yellowstone supervolcano looks increasingly likely to erupt.

According to Brian Wilcox, a former member of the NASA Advisory Council on Planetary Defence, NASA’s “risky” plans to make Yellowstone safe could go disastrously wrong.

Dailystar.co.uk reports: One of the methods would be to drill into the bottom of the United States volcano and to use a pressurised spurt of water to release heat from the magma chamber.

But Mr Wilcox said there is a chance this would not be successful.

“If you drill into the top of the magma chamber and try and cool it from there, this would be very risky,” he said.

“This could make the cap over the magma chamber more brittle and prone to fracture. And you might trigger the release of harmful volatile gases in the magma at the top of the chamber which would otherwise not be released.”

But Mr Wilcox warned it is clear something must be done about Yellowstone.

He told the BBC: “I was a member of the NASA Advisory Council on Planetary Defence which studied ways for NASA to defend the planet from asteroids and comets.

“I came to the conclusion during that study that the supervolcano threat is substantially greater than the asteroid or comet threat.”

Earth has 20 known supervolcanoes, which if they erupted, would trigger planet-changing effects.

Major eruptions are incredibly rare, with the last one approximately 26,500 years ago in New Zealand.

But if a similar event occurred today, it would cause a nuclear winter with humans wiped out in just a few months from starvation.

Mr Wilcox said Yellowstone is so urgent because an eruption is basically imminent, explaining: “Yellowstone explodes roughly every 600,000 years, and it is about 600,000 years since it last exploded, which should cause us to sit up and take notice.”

I WOULDN’T TRUST NASA AS FAR AS I CAN PISS? JUST LIKE ALL THE OTHER GOVERNMENT PLOT TO SAVE US FROM WHATEVER? IT WILL END UP IN DISASTER AND PROBABLY KILL ALOT MORE PEOPLE THAN IF THEY JUST LEAVE IT ALONE! HOW COULD THEY POSSIBLY KNOW WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME IT EXPLODED? FUCKING MORONS!

Ummmm the earth is 6000 yrs old not 600 000 yrs old..oh and by the way it is not a sphere as you have been brainwashed into believeing…. wakeywakey

If it’s flat please explain the seasons and time difference between here and China? If it’s daytime in America and nighttime in Asia then the Earth is not flat if it was it would be night time everywhere at once and daytime everywhere at once. Idiots like you make me fear for the future that we are leaving our kids.
