The photograph below was taken by a man who was hiking in a remote spot known for suicides. The man who took the photograph says he has felt “haunted” by the terrifying ghost even since he took the photo.
According to Mirror UK:
The image was taken by a member of spook-chasing group the Toowoomba Ghost Chasers, while walking in Queensland, Australia.
He described a feeling of being ‘watched’ while at the scene, but didn’t see the ghoulish figure until he went back through his pictures later.
He posted it on the group’s Facebook page to share his horrifying experience.
The post reads: “All of a sudden he felt as though he was being watched and followed and he felt an awful feeling of dread wash over him.
“Then when going back through his photos he found this.
“Bear in mind this is the middle of bushland, it’s rare to see something so large and ‘red’ and other hikers would be dressed differently.”
The man who took the picture, Brock Calcutt, said he was taken aback by the online reaction.
He posted: “Oddly enough I’ve been experiencing a similar feeling of dread every once in a while over the last week.
“I’ll be walking down the street and all of a sudden feel like something is about to jump out at me from behind a tree,” he wrote online.
The supernatural post raised a lot of hairs online.
Willy Dickins posted: “Picking up the worst energy from this photo and it’s giving me a headache.
“So much darkness in that area.
“That feeling of being watched is awful.
“The person who took the photo needs to be mindful if he starts having bad dreams.”
Jasmine Venesse added: ”At first I thought it was a big tree knot but its to low then looked again and saw the man kind if freaked me out a bit.”
Tasha Heywood Winsor said: “Creepy, made me feel sick.”
