SAS Chief: Nobody Believes Assad Used Chemical Weapons

British military chief says Assad did not use chemical weapons

The former head of Britain’s Special Forces says that nobody in the military believes that President Assad was behind the chemical attack in Douma.

Major General Jonathan Shaw challenged the mainstream narrative that suggests Assad gassed his own people, saying: “Why would Assad use chemical weapons at this time? He’s won the war.

“That’s not just my opinion, it is shared by senior commanders in the US military. There is no rationale behind Assad’s involvement whatsoever.

“He’s convinced the rebels to leave occupied areas in buses. He’s gained their territory. So why would he be bothering gassing them?”

Dailymail.co.uk reports: Speaking exclusively to The Mail on Sunday, the ex-SAS and Parachute Regiment commander added: ‘The jihadists and the various opposition groups who’ve been fighting against Assad have much greater motivation to launch a chemical weapons attack and make it look like Assad was responsible.

‘Their motivation being that they want to keep the Americans involved in the war – following Trump saying the US was going to leave Syria for other people to sort out.’

His views were echoed by Admiral Lord West, former head of the Royal Navy, who said: ‘If I was advising President Assad, why would I say use chemical weapons at this point? It doesn’t make any sense. But for the jihadist opposition groups I can see why they would.

‘But one must give Theresa May the benefit of the doubt and trust she has seen some unequivocal evidence which leaves no doubt that Assad was behind the atrocity.’

But the ex-commander of the Army’s chemical weapons regiment, Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, said: ‘A sophisticated nerve agent was used at Douma, not just chlorine. Only Assad has the capability to produce these substances inside Syria. And using chemical weapons is his standard modus operandi.’

Yep, we can understand why he’s ‘ex’ commander.
People like this keep pointing to an MO that has never been proven. Every accusation of the last 7 years against Syria & Russian leaders, has never been proven to this day!

Like Theresa May, Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon is a demonic whore. Look at the name, he is a treasonous Zionist puppet and has the integrity of a camembert cheese in the Sinai desert.

Anyone can say anything – but colonel 3 barrels has failed to back up his words with proof positive, you keep believing the propaganda

        Can you read?
The first part is in “quotes”

MY comment is the final para!

Yeah why should we believe military experts when we have Draft dodger Donald and Windrush woman to lead us into war Rollover?

    • Spook 0013

And who says it was produced in Syria?

      • Rollo10

“Assad has the capability to produce”

        He was implying.

        • Spook 0013

Indeed! My point exactly. He could just as easily have said instead, “”israel”, the US and the UK have the capability to produce these substances and then supply anti-Assad forces with them inside Syria.” And, in fact, that is what he should have said if he wanted to be expose to the probabilities, rather than try to mislead.

Clearly the prototypical perfumed prince, i.e. the senior commander with zero combat duty but hundreds of ribbons all earned by kissing the ass of senior politicians

  • Graham Walker

Just a small point to add re Col. Hamish de Bretton-Gordon that you folks might like to ponder: he was chief operating officer of SecureBio Limited until it was dissolved (no pun intended) late last year …….. mmm.

“A sophisticated nerve agent was used at Douma”, so Assad could’ve used any gas or chemical weapon but he chose to use, even though the war was won!, one that could be easily traced back to the Syrian government………allegedly? The Western propaganda machine has gone into full overdrive………Next stage….’Iran’.

  • Gary-John-Reed

Fewer and fewer people in the public believe the same, because the public are sick and tired of seeing false flags being staged and hearing a daily dose of lies and propaganda from the gov’t and mainstream media’s – we don’t buy it anymore, and some of us never did.

“Colonel Hamish de Bretton-Gordon, said: ‘A sophisticated nerve agent was used at Douma, not just chlorine.”

    – How does he know? The inspectors have only just got there, and people who have got there say there’s no sign of anything like that.

“Only Assad has the capability to produce these substances inside Syria. ”

    – Who says it was produced in Syria (if anything was used at all)?

“And using chemical weapons is his standard modus operandi.’”

    – using chemical weapons is a standard allegation against him, never proven or even credibly proposed.

  • Billy Hammett

There is no proof that any chemical weapon has been used in Douma. And it is my opinion that the US and its allies knowingly rushed to attack Syria before it could be proven.

Major General Jonathan Shaw speaks the truth here. Anyone with the least bit of deductive logical reasoning skills can see the same things he can. He gives us insight into the minds of the entire military generals in the UK and the USA. They all know whose fingerprints were all over the chemical false flag staged event in Douma. The very same fingerprints were all over the false flag events of the attack upon the USS Liberty in 1967 and 911. I’m referring to the israeli Mossad, which has the greatest amount of motivation to try to keep the USA engaged in Syria where we have no vital national interest at stake. Trump was right when he said we should get out of there.

Then on Friday, April 13th, Trump announced the firing of 103 missiles into Syria in response to what we all know was a government-sponsored false flag event, 71 of which were shot down by the Syrian air defense forces. The remaining 32 missiles did little real damage. How unlikely was this result? Clearly, the Syrians and Russians had been warned in advance. None of this was any accident. It’s pretty obvious that not one of the 20 glag rank officers who were photographed with Trump, Pence and Mattis in the oval Office on April 10 objected to the firing of those missiles into Syria even though they ALL knew that thechemical false flag attack was a ruse. Why would they all fail to do the right thing? Cowardice? Or is there something else going on here? Perhaps this story is not yet over.

I’m not a big fan of fighting wicked liars with still further deception. I’m much more in favor of fighting lies and liars with the unvarnished truth boldly anbd directly and exposing the frauds for who and what they are. Real leaders know that this is the only real strategy that works in the long run. Real leaders know that they need to earn the trust and confidence of their followers by speaking the truth all the time. Frauds and men without principles and without convictions, have no real compunction not to lie. So we, the people of the world, are forced to witness pathological liars on both sides of a conflict in the Middle East out lie each other. It’s pathetic really. But the God of truth is using this to teach a few of us an important life lesson: speak the truth always and do the right thing and He (God or YHWH) shall tread down your enemies.

It is better to trust in the LORD (YHWH) than to put your confidence in men. It is better to trust in the LORD (YHWH) than to put your confidence in princes.” Psalm 118:8-9. Never forget this. It may save your life.
