A Gunman fired two dozen rounds at diners in Uherský brod, Czech Republic
The shooter burst into the Druzhba restaurant at noon as it was packed with diners and opened fire.
Local reports suggest the man may have called a TV station shortly before the attack, and that he has a history of mental health problems. The man reportedly said “They’re bullying me, I’m going to take care of this myself”. Some reports suggest the man was carrying two weapons, including a shotgun. There have been unconfirmed suggestions the shooter turned his weapon on himself. One witness reportedly survived the incident by hiding in the toilet. Others escaped through the kitchen during the shooting. The man died during the incident, though the circumstances remain unclear.
One woman remains seriously injured from the attack.
More later on Czech Republic shooting as we get reports.
